Today I am reviewing a very popular fragrance for women by Dolce & gabbana , that is Light Blue.
Its notes include Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedar-wood, Amber, Musk.The creator of this perfume is Olivier cresp.
My thoughts :
I love this fragrance so much.The bottle with blue cap is simple yet stylish and the sky blue velvet box is adorable. Its light & breezy, just like its name and its perfect for summers.The citrus notes with apple & bamboo combine to make such a refreshing, alluring & intoxicating fragrance. I have been in love with Light blue for a very long time.Tried and tested, its a sure hit to use at any occasion. Light blue seems like ,yeah, ok another summer scent, but its more than that, its classy, its sweet & refreshing, its charming & captivating.
It really smells of Sisley somehow.Wow, what a timeless creation by the house of Dolce & gabbana. Lasts for a good 7- 8 hours & leaves a nice trail behind. Its not overpowering at all, its safe to wear in office, to meetings ,dinners , special events, best for a summer wedding for the bride.
Its a total thumbs up from me.Its available on Sephora, 72$ for 1.6 oz edt. I feel myself so lucky to have one , its small & expensive but worth every penny. It gets a 10/10 from me. Its a must have ladies.

Hello beauties.

I bought this eye liner by flormar a few months back and I decided to do a review on it. Flormar is a well known Turkish brand, in Pakistan we have all its products available.I love its lipsticks, which are really creamy and colors are pretty.The best thing about Flormar is its affordability.

Price:

495 rupees.

pros:

very matte
intense black color
glides smoothly
easy to use brush
cute packaging
very affordable

Cons:

difficult to remove
is not waterproof

I just bought Oriflame perfume samples and here I am going to review these three Oriflame fragrances.

Paradise eau de Parfum:
Top notes: bergamot, freesia, black and pink pepper
middle notes: pink Rose, jasmine, Lily of the valley, peony
base notes: cashmere, cedar and musk .
My thoughts: OK First the bottle is too pretty & adorable.The perfume has pink and black pepper notes that are prevalent from the initial spray. If one can dare to wait till this strong peppery phase calms down.
Paradise is beautiful. Though the peppery notes can turn some noses off, I really had to wait for the floral dry down. It is available in 3499 for 50 ml.
The sum up; Don't buy it if you are not a fan of pepper,its a grown - up scent with loads of pepper notes.I wish peony notes were prominent and the pepper toned down,it gets 5/10 from me.

Delicacy eau de parfum

This perfume is inspired by a dessert, the 'power flower' by master chef Christophe Michalak.
Top notes: black current,pink pepper & William's pear,
middle notes: Rose biscuits,raspberries & strawberries.
base notes: vanilla, praline & musk.It was launched in 2011.
My thoughts: I am in love, Delicacy is a sweet fruity and delicious composition. The musky vanilla dry down is fabulous. I am so happy that it turned out to be such a pretty delicate sweet fragrance. Absolutely scrumptious, its available in Pakistan for 2,699, 50 ml.Thumbs up Delicacy.
The sum up; Very sweet & lovely & adorable & totally wearable ,it gets 9/10 from me.

Giordani Gold Eau de Parfum:
It has prominent notes of mandarin , Madonna lily and patchouli.
To be honest, at first sniff, Giordani Gold felt like a horrible headache inducing cheap soapy floral I would never want to touch. I gave it some time and to my surprise it does changes into something pretty and elegant after some time. Its a strong perfume so if you buy it, never over spray it and you ll have to wait till it turns into this stunning musky floral. It is available in 50 ml for 3,299 rupees. First phase is a pass, when the powdery notes mix with florals it becomes less annoying, from middle to dry down its a pretty white floral.
The sum up : pretty loud floral fragrance overall. It gets 7/10 from me.
If I have to choose one from these three, Delicacy will be my favourite. I actually found a good substitute of Escada Pacific Paradise in this.

Hi beauties, hope you are all fine. I am going to talk about The Body Shop Aqua Lily eau de toilett.I actually had the whole set which included Aqua Lily Shower gel, body lotion, Aqua lily body mist, and its soap.
All the things are of very good quality and the body lotion actually lasts forever as its very rich and creamy and I just dont use a lot.The soap and shower gel obviously got used very fast.
Aqua lily fragrance is an aquatic floral. It was launched in 2008, the fragrance includes green apple notes, watermelon, bamboo, mandarin and pink pepper at the top. Floral notes of rose, lily, lily-of-the-valley, violet and mignonette in the middle. Musk and cedar are in the base.
I got this set in 2008 when they launched it, no idea if its still on the shelves. I am not crazy about the Aqua lily fragrance. Its a very fresh floral compostion with prominent water melon note. Its perfect for summers because its a fresh aquatic floral. Its kind of sweet but not too sweet.
Aqua lily can be a good switch if you get bored of Cool Water as its of the same aquatic quality & feel but i' d prefer Cool Water any day. Aqua lily is just more flowery. If you like floral aquatic scents, this is perfect, for me its just ok. The edt has decent longevity but sometimes just feels a little strong for an edt.

Anatomy of 'A Blue Lady'

OK here we go, probably I no longer dare to wear this perfume by Rasasi but I have to admit Blue Lady being my very first real perfume.It was very famous back in my college days but not a lot of girls actually wore it every day, I used to wear Blue Lady or its spray almost every day and girls stopped to ask me what frag I was wearing.

I stopped wearing this many years ago because it became too heavy for me to wear. Notes include violet ,ylang- ylang, tuberose

Peach, plum, narcissus, jasmine,

sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla ,amber and musk.

I now sniffed the bottle and realised that this perfume is a full on bouquet of flowers, jasmine being the most prominent.This comes in 40 ml eau de perfume,around 2000 something rupees nowadays, I don't know the exact price cuz I have 3 bottles still unused from previous years. Its a strong perfume, it lingers even after 12 hours, leaves a huge musky floral cloud behind the wearer, its very recognisable so I think nobody really wears it now a days. Overall a big, rich, in-your-face, floral creation with huge silage and longevity and for a migraine sufferer like me, a big no no. Made perhaps in Givenchy's Amarige style.

Green Tea and some Hilfiga!!!

I was having green tea and sprayed on some Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming and thought about writing a small review on it.Tommy a is well loved brand and is worn by many, be it clothes or colognes. The famous Tommy Girl will need another post but today its Dreaming.
Its notes are white peach, tuberose,white hibiscus, freesia, white sorts of trees and lily of Florance, it was launched in 2007.
I got about 8 samples with purchase of a Hilfiger gift set, it was just launched then, I still have 2 samples left.
My thoughts about this fragrance are that first the bottle is very pretty.I normally go for pretty bottles but sometimes its not wise to invest your hard earned$$$ on pretty bottles, its about what it hold really!!!.
It has yellow floral notes too, but I find TH Dreaming to be a white floral all the way.Tuberose and peach is very prominent with musk & pepper and thanks god I dont smell any freesias at least on me. Its a very clean, floral and musky scent but musk is not very strong. Its a beautiful composition and I have loved it all these years but in summers I feel some metallic notes jump in which I cannot stand.
Its a powerful fragrance, sometimes it can have a masculine vibe but its pretty ladylike and grown up at the same time.
Overall a pretty tuberose fragrance, longevity about 5 hours, radiates a lot and turns heads, it leaves a pretty trail behind the wearer, probably not suitable for wearing on very hot days according to my personal experience.Its a very crisp floral with hints of peach, very lovely,can be worn on special occasions. Its not that pricey so what more you want from Dreaming. It gets a thumbs up from me.

Hi pretty ladies hope you are all fine.
Today I am going to review Victoria' s secret Mood Succulent eau de parfum.
I dont see it on their website now but many bottles are available on Ebay and other sites.
I bought this perfume some years ago and ditched YSL's Elle for this, I think now that It was a wrong decision but nothing can be done.huhh!!! Actually I did not get to use VS Mood Succlent a lot ,it got wasted becuse the atomizer sprayer got pressed by other stuff on it for months and never knew it was in the wardrobe under so many things, I found out when I thought from where this delicious aroma is coming? I lost almost 80% of the full bottle, sad story!!
Learnt my lesson though, to put the cap on when not in use or at least dont forget a bottle like this under a pile of your stuff, lolz.
My thoughts on this perfume are:
First of all there are a few notes in this perfume, Vanilla, Blueberries & sandlewood. wow only three notes, and probably thats why its not a complex fragrance, it remains almost same from start to end.

I think the box in which it comes is very pretty, it has a lot of oomph and so is the bottle, simple but stylish.
The perfume is sweet, not toothache sweet, and the berries are very prominent with hints of Vanilla & sandlewood. Its like both are playing peek a boo in a forest full of berries, blue or black, I still have to figure out,lol ,to me its just too many berries. Its a warm scent, its perfect for Autumn & Winter, not too sassy, but delicious & warm , kind of comforting ,to my nose at least.The longevity is about 6 to 7 hours in my case.
Its not like Lalique Amythist, it does not turn heads but I got a few conpliments while wearing this. Its a no complex, no dark perfume but I feel I am in a forest full of berries, its a good feeling , its a pretty & safe & soothing fragrance for the colder months and for casual & office use.Its peefect for someone who loves berry notes.
I bought my bottle for 259 Dhs from Areej Dubai.
